Late Night Great Night is happening again over at Kissing Bridge. It’s actually happening twice. The first date will be on February 26th, next Friday night, and the second date will be on March 11th, another Friday night. So mark it down on your calendars, agendas, field notes, and whatever else helps you pay bills, remember birthdays, and make bi-monthly visits to your Aunt with the six cats.
Curious about what goes down at Late Night Great Night? Read the following:
Lots of Snowboarding
Riding a Bus to and from KB
Sweating while Snowboarding
Snowboarding till 1 in the morning
Staying up past bedtimes
So as you can see, there are MULTIPLE ways to have fun at LNGN. All for a SUPER LOW COST OF $8! That’s only 4 payments of $2 or 2 payments of $4. WHAT A STEAL. Listen folks, this deal isn’t going to be around forever so get it while it’s HOT. There’s only ONE way to snag these tickets and that’s to buy from them from us. That’s right, here at 2889 Sheridan Drive in the town of Tonawanda, right near the intersection of Eggert and Sheridan.
There has been some talk of a school bus being rented for the night so all you fine people don’t have to waste gas and get to enjoy the company of potential future friends. Call 716-837-8743 for details.
Welcome back. It’s been a few weeks since we’ve complained, yelled, or written anything about anything. Some of us were recently in the lovely town of Whistler enjoying the heavy amount Australians and glaciers, while some of us were in the alcohol limiting state of Utah, specifically Park City. Both killer resorts that offer unbeatable terrain, parks that provide endless fun, and some of the best snow on earth (lookin’ at you Utah; even though you only sell 3.2% beer at grocery stores). Regardless, going on out-of-state trips is something you should aim to do every season.
Whether it is to the Green Mountain state (Vermont, in case you’re not up to par on state nicknames) or Oregon. Heading to a different, potentially much larger mountain increases your riding abilities and whips you into shape real quick. Nothing like feeling 7,000 ft altitude in your lungs at 9am in the morning.
Park City UT
In other news, we are selling Kissing Bridge Anytime passes for $40 and midweek passes (Mon-Fri) for only $20. Additionally, we are selling Holiday Valley Cabin Fever tickets as well. The price on the Cabin Fever are $24.99. Cabin Fever at Holiday Valley take place on Thursday, Feb 4th and Tuesday, March 15th. That’s seems to be it for now. Cheers
It’s about that time of year again, weather is getting brisk, Bills still have playoff potential, Mountains out west are opening up while we are forced to wait until December…but fortunately the annual Mucho Jib Jam is on horizon. This year, the Mucho Jib Jam will be on Saturday, Nov. 14th at Kissing Bridge (obviously), starting at noon(ish). Bust out the fake mustaches and sombreros. There will be product tosses, handmade PB&J’s, hot dogs, and all other kinds of goodies. Red Bull will be a sponsor so if you buy a Red Bull, you get a jump on the air bag.
For the mean time, here are some videos from years past to get you all hot and bothered for the jam. Who remembers when tall tees and baggier clothing the better were a thing? Classic…
If you want details on the event, call the shop at 716-837-8743.
Remember, for all you filmers and photographers out there, you still have till this saturday at midnight to post your video entry & photo to our Facebook. Anybody’s got a shot at winning! Get yo ass editing right now. We also just got the Nike Zoom Force X1 Boa in! These boots are super comfy and we would recommend going a half size down for the perfect fit. Or come in and try on a pair for yourself.
First off, this is amazing. Watch it and try to fathom the amount of balls it took to attempt this. Are snowskates in these days?
After seeing this, Snowskates just got a little bit more credibility.
So, if you haven’t heard or checked YoBeat lately, the infamous Bonezone has been torn down, ripped apart and left as merely firewood and bent metal. The wonderland of logs, rails and every other jib obstacle you can image was laid to rest at the hands of a few chainsaws and some ruthless, fun destroying cops. Rest in Peace Bonezone, you’ve inspired us all to put our hands to work and try to create our own little park away from the park. It is a bummer that when you get a bunch of your homies together, put the hours in to build something, and then a bunch of cops put the kibosh on the whole thing. Did the Bonezone hurt anyone? No. Did they Bonezone have a negative impact? No. Did the Bonezone create fun and inspire creativity? Hell yeah. Regardless, before the Bonezone had an epitaph, a nice little edit was put together by Ted Borland.
A true bittersweet ending. You’ll be missed Bonezone and the edits that came from you. Maybe this will inspire you and your pals to create one for yourself. Never Forget.
Farmer’s Almanac is saying we’re supposed to have bitterly cold and snowy Winter but with all this past rain, it looks like its going to be wet. The best thing we can hope for is a wet winter with freezing temperatures to get some snow dropped on us from the lakes. It’s Buffalo so who knows what we’ll get but every year we pray that we’ll see snow by December. Maybe this year we’ll get lucky. Our friends over at the Boardroom in Ellicottville posted a picture of a nice coating they got this past week so the hopes are high.
And if you’re reading this you should be at the Mucho Jib Jam which we will be posting pictures from once we upload ’em. Good luck to all the filmers and photographers today; anybody has a shot at winning. Seriously, anybody.
