I hope everyone knows already, but June 21st is Go Skateboarding Day! So b.Lo skateboards is having a parade from Towpath park on Hertel all the way to Xtreme Wheels where everyone gets free admission! Check the poster below for more details!
Pepsi Refresh: Tonawanda Skate Park
Just wanted to remind everyone about the great things the friends and family of Gregory Holler are doing for their own Tonawanda Skate Park project. Working with the City of Tonawanda, the project plans to build a brand new 100% free skate park in Tonawanda.
At the same time, Pepsi is holding their Refresh Project – where different community ideas can receive grants from Pepsi to get their ideas started or finished. By voting, the top 10 ideas from each price range will receive their grant money. The Tonawanda Skate Park is asking for a $50,000 grant to finish the skate park here in Tonawanda, they are currently in 63rd place but need your votes to reach the top 10. Come on they were in like 100th place
Without sounding like beggars or something, everyone here would appreciate it if you took 5 minutes out of your day to vote for a great town and a great family that is pulling together for an amazing cause.

Random Tuesday Skate Edit
A lot of the best spots around Buffalo are the schools. So it’s pretty hard to find a spot to skate at 2pm on a Tuesday that isn’t Lockport Skate Park, which is the place to go when you’re too lazy to think of street spots. So we hit up the Waterfront ledges and got kicked out after an hour (which is rare) then made our way over to Kyles house and ate a Souvlaki salad from his girlfriend like neanderthals. Kyle suggested we get real food at Captain Jack’s on Elmwood which is skating distance from his house. Matt was bummed as usual because his lack of a wallet/any sort of monetary establishment. Get the Chicken/Fish sandwich = tasty. North Tonawanda Ledge spot was my suggestion which ended up being the best and longest session of the day. Next time we’ll get some tricks on the parking block rail/ledge. It’s Super Funtastical!

Sheridan Jam is Tomorrow.
