Phatman has been in existance for over 19 years. Â It all began 1994 at Lockport NY, so we decided to take our first skate jam of the summer back to our Roots. Join us at the Lockport Railyard Sunday May 26th for an epic skate jam. Phatman will be cooking up some dogs and hydration. Find your oldest Phatman Tee and get ready to skate. Event is free for all our skateboarding fans and loyal customers.
A great thanks to the 4278 Park Crew for building yet another amazing Quarterpipe for 2013. It was a great event sponsored this year by the one and only Phatman Boardshop, 2889 Sheridan Drive in Tonawanda NY 14150. Phatman handed out $1,500 of prizes (Smith Optics, Skull Candy, Burton, Electric Visual, Grenade, Celtek, Neff, Thirty Two, Capita, Union to name a few brands) to the top competetors, followed by a prize toss that had our fans climbing the walls!
Holliday Valley Resort will be hosting the 5th Annual Boarding for Breast Cancer Board-A-Thon on Saturday, Feb. 16th 2013. Phatman owner Bob Knab will be out shooting the event. This is the most anticipated fund raising slope style rail jam and womans event of the season. The most talented woman and men riders join forces in raising money for breast cancer research. The day long event  will include riding and park clinics for woman of all ages, Chinese Auction and award winning reception party and an onsite B4BC out reach booth.

It’s that time of year again, we are calling out all of our Jibbers to attend the PHATMAN 6th Annual “Mucho Jib Jam 2012” which will be held at the central location of Kissing Bridge.
Show up early and register NOVEMBER 11th, to ride on some rails and boxes, snow will be hauled in from a local ice skating rink.
It’s going to be an OPEN JAM style, top riders will be called out throughout the event winning single Prizes and some Prize Bundles.

So Robbie whats up with your EVO?
Phatman has many Arbors, Sector 9’s to arrive this week. Hanging in the shop right now we have a killer selection of Landyachtz, I just had to have the EVO! I love it, so sick! Grizzly 852 trucks , 76mm Monsters and LY abec 7 bearings. The 11 ply’s of Canadian maple and its dropdown platform make this board so stable and smooth for downhill drifting and sliding. I tested the EVO out on the Hopkins Rd. 990 overpass and then at Akron falls park, a great place to practice a few basics, such as a layback and coleman slide.
